✈️ How Your Maltese Puppy Travels
Your Maltese puppy will travel in the climate-controlled cabin area of the plane, inside an airline-approved pet carrier. All travel arrangements are taken care of by us — you’ll receive your puppy’s flight number, arrival time, and a reference number ahead of time. You simply go to the airport and pick up your new puppy, just as you would meet a family member flying in. Most puppies arrive within 24 hours of departure, depending on your location.
We’ve been safely shipping puppies for over 11 years, and in our experience, they arrive happy, calm, and well-adjusted. Whenever possible, we book direct, non-stop flights to minimize travel time and ensure comfort.

We ship Maltese puppies via trusted airlines because it’s the fastest and safest method — especially if you’re located far away or in another state. Each puppy travels in a customized, ventilated airline-approved plastic kennel, carefully selected based on their size and journey duration.
Before shipping, we spend time acclimating your puppy to the crate to reduce any stress. The crates are clearly marked with “LIVE ANIMAL” stickers, your contact information, and destination details. Inside the crate, your puppy has food and hydration gel packs to ensure they remain nourished and comfortable, even in the rare event of a travel delay.
We monitor weather conditions at both ends and only ship when it’s 100% safe. Your puppy’s health and comfort are our top priorities, and we never risk shipping in unsafe conditions.
🍼 Nanny Delivery Option – Hand-Delivered Puppies
For those who prefer even more personalized care, we offer Puppy Nanny services. A trusted, experienced puppy nanny will fly with your Maltese puppy in-cabin and hand-deliver them directly into your arms at your nearest major airport.
This is the safest, most attentive way to receive your new puppy, and many families love the peace of mind this option offers. Your puppy will be comforted and cared for during the entire journey.
📋 Health Certificate & Arrival Info
Every Maltese puppy we ship comes with a mandatory health certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian. This ensures your puppy is in perfect health and clears them for air travel in compliance with airline regulations.
Please plan to be at the airport (or at home, if using the nanny service) at the scheduled time. Puppies are typically available for pickup about 1 hour after flight arrival. You’ll need a valid ID (like a driver’s license) to collect your puppy.
After arrival, we recommend taking your Maltese to your local vet within 48 hours for a wellness check-up. We’ll follow up with you 24 hours after delivery to ensure everything is perfect and answer any questions you may have.
